Invitation to Bid - Auxiliary Gymnasium Painting and Repairs
The Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem will receive bids up to and including Friday, April 4, 2024, at 4:00 PM at the Administrative Office, 1430 Fritz Drive, Bethlehem, PA 18017, regarding painting and repairs to its Auxiliary Gymnasium that serves the youth of the Marvine Pembroke and greater Bethlehem Area. This project is being Federally Funded. The prevailing wages established under the Davis-Bacon Act will apply to this Contract. Bidders must also register as a contractor with the Federal Government under the Systems for Award Management (SAM) as indicated in the bidding documents.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday March 20, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Boys & Girls Club. All bidders must attend the scheduled pre-bid meeting, which is a prerequisite to bidding. Copies of the Request for Proposals

Christian Colon
´
Christian grew up on Southside Bethlehem and is a Club alumnus. He played basketball at the Southside Clubhouse and spent most of his time in the Club’s library reading books. He remembers being inspired to go to college because of Lehigh University student mentors at the Club talking to him about their college experience. He is a Bethlehem Catholic graduate, and received his college undergraduate degree from East Stroudsburg University. He then went on to receive a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh’s Law School in 2020. Christian joined the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office in 2021 to become part of a movement towards rehabilitative justice reform. He now has has own criminal defense practice where he focuses on advocating for his clients in pursuit of fairness and justice on their behalf.
