Gary was raised in Philadelphia where he graduated from Frankford High School with athletics on his mind. His father however, sent him to Staunton Military Academy, which he admits was the worst and best year of his life. His time there prepared him for Moravian College where he excelled in football as both a player and team captain and where he graduated with a B.A. in Business and Psychology. Juggling a tough schedule and being mentored by inspiring coaches still are the backbone to what drives Gary today – motivating kids to become their best!
